Yahoo Sports Adds Gametime as an Official Ticketing Partner
Through a new partnership, Yahoo Sports and Gametime will team up to deliver market-leading ticket deals and in-depth coverage of the ticketing industry.
Note: Verizon Media is now known as Yahoo.

Yahoo Sports is adding Gametime as an official ticketing partner to help fans access the sporting events they care about most.
Through the agreement, Yahoo Sports will integrate Gametime across its products and content to deliver market-leading ticket offers and data-driven coverage of the ticketing industry.
- Select Yahoo Sports website and app experiences – for example, game, team, and schedule pages – will feature related Gametime offers, giving fans the opportunity to buy tickets to the events they’re reading about.
- Gametime will provide data-driven insights to inform Yahoo Sports coverage of the ticketing industry; for example, stories about the price of Super Bowl or FIFA World Cup tickets.
- Gametime will sponsor select Yahoo Sports editorial features, “how to watch” stories, and video segments.
Yahoo Sports will also promote Gametime ticket offers via broader marketing efforts such as email campaigns and Yahoo Sports app push notifications.
“We’re always looking for ways to bring fans closer to the action and this partnership reflects that,” said Jon Shaw, Yahoo Sports Head of Revenue and Partnerships. “With Gametime, we’re making it easy to go from following a game on Yahoo Sports to finding a great seat for it in the stands. And by tapping into Gametime’s data, we’re also giving fans smarter coverage of the ticketing landscape – from price trends to big-game access.”
“For millions of fans like me, Yahoo Sports is where game day starts, and we’re honored to help make it the place where live experiences begin too,” said Brad Griffith, Founder & CEO of Gametime. “By integrating our ticketing technology directly into Yahoo Sports, we’re giving fans a faster way to go from checking scores to connecting in the stadium.”
