OUR EMPLOYEE RESOURCE GROUPS
ERGs are made up of dedicated employees who go above and beyond their day-to-day roles within the company to educate, support, and foster strong inclusive communities within the company. These groups play a critical role in Yahoo’s vision to become an employer of choice and leader in inclusion. ERGs establish networks that enhance diversity and fuel our culture of inclusion and belonging. They are enablers of the DEI&B strategy to support Yahoo’s strategic business goals. ERGs foster both professional and personal development and share diverse insights to help grow our business and to connect with our consumers. ERGs support the communities we serve through volunteerism and unite us to our external communities.

We understand that being an ally is a never-ending effort and our Learner's Journey curriculum guides our team on the path to becoming allies by providing education and programming. This resource was designed to create the conditions for ongoing conversations around DEI&B, with a specific focus on racial & gender inclusion.
In June 2020, we donated $5 million in ad inventory to support Black-owned small businesses marketing and build awareness as well as provide resources to help develop creative and placement of ads.
We launched an external speaker series that brought in experts from a wide range of topics and industries. Check out the conversation on Yahoo Life.
In March 2021, we committed $5 million in donations and ad inventory to the Asian and Pacific Islander community for media that advocates for Asian rights and mental health or promotes Asian-owned and run small businesses.
Yahoo is a proud 2022 Platinum recipient of Mental Health America’s Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health. We also joined forces with Snap and Kellogg Company to destigmatize mental health at work. Learn more about our Mind Together Coalition.
We incorporate the latest technology and techniques in accessible design and media and are reshaping opportunities for, and the perception of people with disabilities. Our initiatives include Teach Access and The Disability Collection.
