All Yahoo products, properties, media, services, marketing, advertising, communications, and procurement will conform to globally accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility. Human resources activities (recruitment, talent acquisition, onboarding, training and accommodations) will adhere to industry best practices for inclusion of people with disabilities.

Yahoo’s Multi-Year Accessibility Plan

FY 2023

Objective: Eliminate basic accessibility issues from all Yahoo Top Tier products and report out an overall accessibility status of GREEN for two (2) consecutive quarters.

All Yahoo products, across all relevant platforms, will be scanned for basic accessibility issues twice.

Any issues found during the scans will be used to create A-Bug tickets. The issues ticketed will be fixed according to A-Bug standards.

User studies will be conducted twice on products with no known outstanding basic accessibility issues.

The Accessibility Team will create quarterly reports on the accessibility status of Yahoo’s Top Tier products.

FY 2024

Objective: Eliminate basic accessibility issues from all Yahoo Top Tier products and report out an overall accessibility status of GREEN for three (3) consecutive quarters and improve overall user feedback scores by 10% for the fiscal year.

All Yahoo products, across all relevant platforms, will be scanned or otherwise evaluated for basic accessibility issues once by their assigned Accessibility Oversight Group (AOG) member.

Any issues found during the scans will be used to create A-Bug tickets. The issues ticketed will be fixed according to A-Bug standards.

User studies on all Yahoo Top Tier products will be conducted once by the Inclusive Design Team.

The Inclusive Design Team will create quarterly reports on the accessibility status of Yahoo’s Top Tier products.
